External renovations

Removing and replacing many of the rotten dark (and sometimes curved) timbers and loose and cracked white pebble-dash panelling. Repairing and re-painting all the timber barge boards, soffits and facias, porch carpentry and garage frames. This was just some of the work that helped to keep two large and attractive period properties near Radnor Park in Folkestone looking ship-shape

The challenge

Similar looking properties in the neighbourhood looked, at a glance, to require similar kinds of repair. But closer investigation showed that the level of degradation and the scope of the work was distinct to each one. The key was to be conscientious, creative and sympathetic to each one
